biography
Jack Noonan
Jack grew up in Omaha, Nebraska....birthplace of Henry Fonda and Marlon Brando.
From a young age, he was involved in many sports and was always the fastest runner of his peers. After high school, he was walked-on to the University of Nebraska football team where that speed earned him a scholarship as a wide receiver under famed coach Tom Osborne. He played that position through college and upon graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice, he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the ninth round to play on Sundays in the NFL. He also found time to be a graduate assistant coach for the Huskers and one of his proteges was two time Super Bowl champion Tom Rathman, fullback for the San Francisco 49ers.
Jack' other passion besides sports was television and film. He could name practically any actor on the screen and used to play that game with his three brothers. So after football, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the Entertainment Industry. Jack had caught footballs in front of 90,000 people so performing under pressure was less daunting than for most.
He became a model with the famed Nina Blanchard Agency and traveled the world living in London, Hamburg and Tokoyo. He transitioned into acting under the tutelage of Janet Alhanti, Judith Weston and Susan Peretz. Jack has appeared in many commercials and in film and on stage. He starred in a highly acclaimed one man show entitled, "The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?" which toured across the US and he most recently appeared in a leading role in the Ruskin Theatre's "Tall Hot Blonde". Recent film credits include "My Dead Dad", "One Last Thing" and "Unnatural".
Jack holds a masters degree in psychology and has worked with the Sedona Intensive and Malibu Beach Recovery both of which specialize in addiction and codependency issues. He holds a NASM fitness degree and combines both in a unique way when treating his clients.
Passionate about animals, Jack and his Australian Shepherd Joe, spent 8 years with "Love On Four Paws", which is a pet therapy outreach program. They visited patients at Children's Hospital, St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica and a retirement home for nun's. Joe has retired from therapy work but these two still participate in a Dog Agility program in West Los Angeles.
Jack currently participates in triathlons and competitive trail run races all over the state of California.
